Comments
The Site does not currently display comment forms. If we turn comments on, we will collect the data shown in the comment form, along with your IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam. An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see whether you use it. Gravatar’s privacy policy is at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the Site, please avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract any location data from images on the Site. Visitors cannot currently upload media to the Site.
Contact forms
When you submit a form, the information you enter is sent to our team by email (the forms run on the Contact Form 7 plugin on our own website). The email lands in our team’s inbox, where we keep it as described under “How long we retain your data”. We use it to answer your inquiry and, if you become a client, to start your project. We keep inquiries for the period shown under “How long we retain your data”. We do not use the information from a contact form to add you to marketing lists unless you ask us to.
Cookies
The Site itself does not set cookies to track visitors across other websites. We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies in these categories:
- Strictly necessary: cookies the Site needs to function and stay secure. Our team members who log in to the administration area receive login cookies. Login cookies last two days, or two weeks if “Remember me” is selected. Screen option cookies last one year. A temporary cookie checks whether the browser accepts cookies and is deleted when the browser closes.
- Analytics: if enabled, cookies or similar identifiers that help us count visits and see which pages are used.
- Advertising and measurement: if enabled, tags from advertising platforms (for example Google) that measure whether visits turn into inquiries. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not work if you block them. You can also use the Global Privacy Control setting in a supporting browser, which we treat as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
Analytics
We use website analytics to understand how the Site is used. These tools may collect your IP address, device and browser information, and pages visited. The analytics and site statistics features of Jetpack, provided by Automattic Inc., may be used for this purpose. Automattic’s privacy policy is at https://automattic.com/privacy/. We do not combine analytics data with the details you give us in forms. You can opt out of tracking by browser, by blocking cookies, or by emailing us.
Embedded content and fonts
Pages on the Site may include embedded content from other websites (for example videos, maps or social posts). Embedded content behaves as if you had visited the other website. Those sites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking and monitor your interaction with the embedded content, including if you have an account and are logged in to that site. The Site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is sent to Google when a page loads. Author profile pictures may be loaded from Gravatar, which receives your IP address in the same way.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Site and our business, and only as needed:
- Website hosting, security and performance providers.
- Email delivery and team communication tools.
- Customer relationship management and marketing automation tools.
- Analytics and site statistics providers, including Automattic (Jetpack).
- Advertising and measurement platforms, if we use them for our own marketing.
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, and authorities when the law requires.
These providers may use your information only to provide services to us. We may also share information in connection with a merger, sale or reorganization of our business, with notice to you where required.
If you request a password reset on the administration area, your IP address is included in the reset email. This applies to our team members only.
How long we retain your data
| Information | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Contact form inquiries and related emails | Up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client |
| Newsletter subscription | Until you unsubscribe, then only a suppression record so we do not email you again |
| Client records and agreements | For the term of the agreement and as long afterward as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes |
| Analytics records | Up to 26 months |
| Server and security logs | Up to 90 days |
| Comments, if enabled | Retained with their metadata so follow-up comments can be recognized, until you ask us to remove them |
If you have an account on a service we operate for you, you can see, edit or delete your personal information at any time, except for your username. Administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to send you a copy, to correct it, or to erase it. We may keep information we are required to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes. You can also withdraw consent you gave us, object to our use of your information for our legitimate interests, and unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in every message.
Residents of California and other US states
Depending on where you live, state privacy laws (including those of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and others) may give you the right to know, access, correct, delete and obtain a portable copy of your personal information, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising, and to appeal a decision about your request. We do not sell personal information and do not knowingly share it for cross-context behavioral advertising on the Site. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
In the last 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address), professional or business information (business name, website, location), internet activity (pages viewed), and the content of your communications with us. We collect this information from you directly and from your browser or device. We disclose it to the service providers listed above for the business purposes described in this policy.
To make a request, email [email protected] or write to the mailing address above. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We respond within 45 days, and we may extend that once by another 45 days when the law allows. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with your written permission.
Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland
Our services are directed to businesses in the United States. If the law of your country applies to your personal data, you may also have the right to restrict processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Our legal bases are described in the table at the start of this policy.
Where your data is sent
We and our service providers are based in, and process information in, the United States. If you visit the Site from another country, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where the law requires safeguards for transfers of personal data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on the safeguards our providers offer, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Visitor comments, if enabled, may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
What data breach procedures we have in place
If we learn of a breach that affects your personal information, we will investigate and contain it, and notify affected individuals and the authorities as required by applicable law.
What third parties we receive data from
For this Site, we receive information only from you and from your browser. Marketing emails and text messages
We send marketing emails only to people who have asked to receive them or who have an existing relationship with us, and every message includes an unsubscribe link. We send marketing text messages only after you give express written consent. You can reply STOP at any time to stop texts, and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. We do not share mobile phone numbers or text consent with third parties for their own marketing.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Other websites
The Site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.
Industry regulatory disclosure requirements
We are not a health care provider and do not act as a business associate under HIPAA. Do not send us protected health information. If a client’s marketing involves regulated information, we will agree in writing how it is handled before any work begins.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If a change is significant, we will give a more prominent notice.
